Narrow Aisle Forklift
Utilized to both lower and lift loaded pallets from storage spaces that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This particular model is suitable for work places with narrow spaces between aisles, like for instance warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires which make maneuvering very easy.
Generally, the operator of this particular kind of forklift stands up in a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as short and narrow as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: two in the front, and one in the rear. This configuration allows for easy and fast maneuvering. There are several versions of these forklifts which come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment could pivot to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to reposition the whole equipment. The sit-down model normally has four wheels.
An electric engine is utilized to power many narrow aisle forklifts. Electric-powered machinery do not produce exhaust fumes and are quiet, making them the preferred option for closed areas like for instance retail spaces. Several lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. Then again, the diesel model is not recommended to be utilized indoors because it can produce exhaust and be noisy.
