Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks provide versatility and height. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual using it to raise the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard lift trucks can not move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in both construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is needed.
In situations needing high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments referred to as forklift carton clamp attachments are better. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It comes with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specifically to lift staff. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
