Narrow aisle lift trucks function by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale spotlights the double reach NDR and the single reach NR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale use best-in-class ergonomics and provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different stance and control handle configurations.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are numerous control handle configurations that meet a variety of operations and the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers powerful deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been designed for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads moved during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, as well as the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To greatly enhance the overall throughput and productivity, Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: While regenerative lowering could reduce battery changes per shift it also functions to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: In order to greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable so as to reduce operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height can be more than 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are usually guided by wire or rail when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
