The S-boom telescopic booms by Genie have been equipped with a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally than compared to other types of aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access tight places during construction and industrial jobs. They are also recognized for their ability to rapidly maneuver through a job site with great drive speed and traction. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and is able to stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables offer easy, quick positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 model comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This particular unit could also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs which were previously inaccessible by conventional jibs. The Z-80/60 unit's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This feature enables up and over reaching tasks to be completed with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System made by Genie allows for time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms platform needs to either be lowered or lifted without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be raised fully at the same time. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time needed for users to ascend and descend, increasing effectiveness and production.
