To be able to pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty reefer containers and empty ISO standard containers, the TECDS-150H Attachment could expand. Any containers measuring more than 40 feet need to have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has 4 corner twist-locks too, electrical signal lights inside the cab, hydraulic slewing and 2 work lights.
Able to deal with 2 separate 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers at the same time is the ELME attachment. It allows for numerous containers to be stacked on top of each other. As well, this attachment comes with 4 horizontal twist-locks which insert into the side apertures of the upper containers bottom corner castings as well as the lower container's top corner castings. The highly specialized design of the twist-locks allows block stacking to be accomplished.
Drive Train
Each Taylor unit container forklift has a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air after-cooled or charged air to air diesel engine. Some of the standard engine features include transmission/engine protection, electronic maintenance and diagnostic monitor, water/fuel separator, improved fuel economy and less overall emissions. In addition, the transmission available for all 3 models is a 3-speed, fully reversing, power-shift, non-modulated transmission. It comes along with remote shift control and inching capacity.
