The Cummins diesel engines ranging from 162 horse-power to 250hp provides the necessary power on all of the large capacity units. TierIII emission standards are met with engines which have 6 cylinders. These models could take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It can climb on steep slopes and rough terrain and provides great acceleration too.
The operator is able to use a switch in order to choose 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or tough terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks could save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. Furthermore, simply by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a chosen speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving function. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the equipment comfortable to operate and easy to maneuver.
The well-ventilated cabin provides a comfortable and spacious working place. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps ensure the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was designed ergonomically to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the unit's overall safety. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on giving the enjoyable atmosphere which Hyundai machinery are reputed to have.
