Different businesses such as Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Scrap Handling, Bulk Transfer Facilities and numerous other material handling facilities are currently utilizing our grabs and buckets to accomplish their jobs.
The design philosophy at Peiner has continually revolved around delivering grabs which deal with the largest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The typical handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is around 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent versus grab dead weight of 40 percent. This translates into transporting greater quantities of materials quicker. The wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related components is less. By combining innovative design and high quality materials with manufacturing, the desirable weight ratio is attained.
Grab sizes will vary from 1 cubic yard or less to over 50 cubic yards in order to suit the requirements of the client. Moreover, Peiner USA Inc. offers a complete spare parts facility and service facility for the units sold within the United States, along with the addition of new buckets and grabs.
