Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family business within the Northern Italy's biggest industrial place. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
The company began crane production in 1963. Eventually, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru presently manufactures and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machines are engineered and designed for various applications and there are models available to cover all construction needs.
FMgru has some extremely flexible lifting options for smaller companies working on private houses and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes provide 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other models comprise topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are really adaptable and user friendly. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are regular tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These cranes are particularly designed to work in restricted sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are located near each other.
